One of the prestigious schools in the Philippines, UP Diliman can give you not just quality education but a mouth-watering food trip experience as well. Yes, food trip! The campus houses food destinations anyone must try.

Chocolate Kiss Café

Located at AngBahayng Alumni, Chocolate Kiss Café is the place suited for those who wanted to have some dessert especially cakes. The owner actually started the café with yummy cakes having the passion for baking. Today, their menu also includes pasta and favorite Filipino dishes.

Making your dinner more relaxing and romantic, the café has musicians playing violin, guitar and keyboards. You can catch them every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Don’t miss their Shrimp Pasta Aligue (PHP275) and one of their house specialties, Beef Salpicao (PHP295). For a finale, satisfy your sweet craving with their two-layer Classic Chocolate Cake (PHP103).

Restaurant of Choice (ROC)

Also located at AngBahayng Alumni, Restaurant of Choice is definitely the choice for a cozy foodie escape.  One of their famous merienda is ROC Burger (PHP168) with french fries. It is a quarter pound beef patty sandwiched in a sesame bun with lettuce, onions and tomatoes made tastier with garlic aioli spread. Complete it with ROCha, ROC’s very own milk tea with black pearls (PHP82).

You can call them for reservations and catering services.

Where is McDok’s sizzling sisig? It’s also a must try in UP.

Haven’t tried that one yet. But from what I checked, it’s located in Area 2. I definitely need to update my list, so many places to try in UP. 🙂 Thank you for the suggestion, Justin! 🙂
